Free training at BID's Waterloo Summer School
For the second year, local BID, WeAreWaterloo, is running a programme of training sessions for its members' staff.
Classes take place in the area and are aimed at local businesses who want to develop skills in their staff but don’t have much of a training budget or the capacity to train staff in-house.
These intensive sessions cover business skills that WeAreWaterloo members have said they need most – that’s everything from how to use Mailchimp and Survey Monkey to presentation techniques, crowdfunding, people management and branding. The BID has also introduced a couple of sessions which tackle mindfulness in the workplace as a vital component of staff wellbeing and productivity.
BID members can book onto any of the courses via Eventbrite. They all take place between 2 - 13 July.
